We’re starting Movie Night up again next Friday, October 15th! We’ll be gathering at NPPC in Room 100AB to watch and discuss Black Panther starring the late Chadwick Boseman. We’ll be looking for the spiritual messages in this history-making film.
Chadwick Boseman was a strong Christian and had been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer before he made this and many other films. He kept his illness confidential and most of his friends and co-workers did not know what he was enduring. His story is perhaps even more remarkable than that of T’Challa’s, Marvel Comics’ first black superhero. We saw him play Jackie Robinson, the first black man to play Major League Baseball, in “42” when we viewed it in 2018.
We’ll gather at 7:00 PM and start the film at 7:15 PM.
Save the following dates for future films October 29 - Alive Inside; November 5, TBD (virtual); November 22- The Best of Enemies; December 3 or 10 - It Happened on 5th Avenue
